1. designscheu asked: Hi, I saw your post listing all your lenses but I'm interested in the Bag on the picture ;) Where can I get this beauty ?

    Hi there, thanks for looking!

The bag is a Domke F-10, I found it after much searching and testing as an almost perfect bag for my M (or any mirror-less) plus 3 or 4 small lenses. One minor gripe is the extremely loud velcro on the main flap. I got mine in Singapore at Cathay Photo but you should be able to find Domke bags all over the world. Here’s a link to their site:

The one I have is the olive green cotton-canvas bag but theres also a “Rugged Wear” wax coated version (which the store didnt have).

  2. Current M lens line-up. with lenses ranging from 15mm-90mm.
From left to right
Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 Super Wide Heliar Aspherical II
Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH
Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 2,8/21 ZM
Leica Summilux 50mm f/1.4 ASPH
Leica APO Summicron-M 75mm f/2 ASPH
Leica Tele-Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8 (II)
Excluded from this gathering are the Voigtlander 50mm f/1.1 Nokton (which will probably be sold given the 50 lux), the Leica 90mm summicron pre-asph (which will be definitely be sold having been replaced by the cheaper and lighter elmarit 90) and the Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton classic which was used to take the picture. With these lenses my ideal kit is almost complete, the only thing missing being a high performance leica 35mm f/1.4 summilux asph, the 35 1.4 Nokton being a deliberately soft “dreamy” lens (hence the Classic moniker). Not really a priority as I enjoy the little Nokton.

  5. Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton Classic
It’s not very sharp yet I cant help but like it due to the small size, light weight, fast aperture, and ocassionally beautiful classic(ie. soft!) rendering that works well for grainy black and whites.
